Raised in the duality of Lisbon’s suburban neighborhoods, and deeply rooted in his Cabo Verdean heritage, SUAVÉMI grew up navigating a world shaped by both struggle and beauty. Community, culture, music, and love coexisted with danger, challenges, and the quiet strength of family. It was a perfectly chaotic environment that forged an authentic, boundary-breaking artist.

His music reflects lived experiences, raw emotions, and personal truths—from love and loss to dreams and ambition. Drawing inspiration from Cabo Verdean rhythms, 1980s Portuguese music, and genres spanning Afrobeat, Rap, Rock, Jazz & Blues, RnB, and Soul, SUAVÉMI’s voice becomes a powerful vehicle for storytelling.

With a rebellious spirit and a message against conformity, he creates music that inspires, motivates, and leaves listeners feeling alive and surprised. His long-term vision is to uplift the next generation—building a label to support emerging artists, delivering shows with integrity, and growing as a force for Black excellence and creativity.
